Julie Bubnack joined Southwest Strategies with over 15 years experience in accounting, finance, and human resources. In her role as Director of Finance, she is responsible for all of the company’s accounting activities.
Bubnack graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a Business Emphasis. Upon graduation, she participated in the start-up of a private language school. Bubnack served as the Assistant Director responsible for accounting, human resources, and customer service for nine years. Subsequently, Bubnack was employed by Debt Acquisition Company of America, a private, distressed debt fund in San Diego. Bubnack served as its controller for one year and was promoted to Vice President responsible for managing the firm’s investments, coordinating the firm’s legal activities, and researching new investment opportunities.
