Kimberly Olive serves as an Account Executive at Southwest Strategies, combining her political and communications experience to assist with government and community relations efforts for numerous accounts. Olive works on behalf of a variety of clients, including Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Marriott International, Inc., and the Centre City Development Corporation.
Prior to joining Southwest Strategies, Olive worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. She began her career as Legislative Correspondent to U.S. Senator Richard Shelby. She also served as Press Secretary to U.S. Congressman Spencer Bachus and most recently worked as Communications Director to U.S. Congressman Joe Wilson. In this role, Olive served as the Congressman’s spokesperson and directed his communications strategy as it related to his role on the House Armed Services Committee.
Olive is a native of Alabama. She attended The University of Alabama where she graduated summa
cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Olive has volunteered for numerous Republican Congressional campaigns. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the Junior League of San Diego.
